FAQ & troubleshooting

Short answers to the questions people actually hit in this area — connecting and verifying channels, the dashboard, tracked links, notifications and the reliability score. Each answer points back to the page with the full story if you need it.

Channels & verification

Why does Onflow Ads need its bot as an admin in my channel?

Two reasons: it proves the channel exists and that you control it (only an admin can add another admin), and it lets the platform post and verify promotions for the engines that need it. The verification panel lists exactly which admin rights are required and why — nothing more is asked for.

The check keeps failing even though I added the bot

Work down this list:

  1. Confirm you added the bot to the channel itself, not a linked discussion group.
  2. Open your channel's administrator settings and check the bot has the Post Messages right switched on — that specific right is required.
  3. Make sure the link you pasted is your channel's public t.me link or @username, not a private invite link.
  4. Wait a few seconds after changing rights, then click I've done it — check again.

Can I list a private channel or a group?

No. Only public Telegram channels can be listed. Groups and personal profiles are rejected during verification, and private channels have no public link to verify.

It says "You've already added that channel"

Each channel can only be connected once per account. Find it in My channels on the dashboard and continue from there.

Why can't I edit my channel?

Listings are locked while Pending review and after being Approved — you will see "This channel is locked while it's under review." If your channel comes back as Needs changes, editing reopens along with the reviewer's note.

My channel was rejected — what now?

Open the channel with Set up. The reviewer's note appears at the top ("Changes requested: …"). Fix what was flagged and click Submit for review again — resubmitting puts you back in the queue with a clean slate.

My channel photo is not showing

The photo is pulled from Telegram when you add the channel. If it did not come through, open the wizard's Details step and use Upload image to set one yourself (JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF, up to 2 MB). If an upload fails with a size error, compress the image and try again.

How do I remove a channel?

In My channels, click Delete, then click Confirm delete within a few seconds. This is permanent — the listing and its setup are gone, and re-listing means going through verification and review again.

Dashboard

The stat tiles on my dashboard show dashes

The tiles fill in once your account stats load. Dashes mean the numbers are still loading or temporarily unavailable — your channels, orders and wallet are unaffected. Refresh the page, or check back shortly.

Where do I find my wallet, reliability score and notifications quickly?

They live in the header of every signed-in page: the wallet pill, the shield-shaped reliability pill, and the bell. On phones, open your avatar menu — the same entries are inside it.

Tracked links are created automatically when you generate ad copy containing a link in AI Studio, or when links in your ad creative are rewritten during a Paid Promotions booking. Run one of those and the link appears here on its own.

That is intentional. t.me and Telegram links are never rewritten, because a redirect would break Telegram's in-app navigation for your readers. Links back to Onflow Ads are also left alone.

Clicks and unique visitors do not match — which is right?

Both. Clicks counts every click; unique visitors counts repeat clicks from the same visitor on the same day only once. The By device breakdown also separates out bot and link-preview traffic so you can judge real interest.

Conversions stay at zero

Conversions only count when the conversion pixel fires. Check that you pasted the pixel snippet onto the success or thank-you page of the destination site (a page only reached after the action you want to count), and that the destination is a site you control. External sites you cannot edit will never report conversions.

Notifications

I'm not getting Telegram notifications

Telegram DMs require your account to be linked to our bot. Open https://onflowads.com/telegram/dashboard/notifications, go to Settings, and if you see the "Start our bot" note, follow it. Then check the Telegram toggle is on for the categories you want.

I chose a digest but still got an instant email

That is by design. Time-sensitive alerts — a failed payment, a refund, your ad going live, a declined withdrawal, a paused Auto-Boost — always send immediately, even in digest mode. Everything else waits for the roundup.

Can I turn off the bell?

No — the in-app feed always records everything, so you always have a complete history. The Email and Telegram toggles control the channels that reach you outside the site.

I completed a top-up but got no "payment" notification email

Successful top-ups send you a PDF invoice email already, so the notification arrives in-app (and as a Telegram DM if linked) without a duplicate email. Failed payments do email you immediately.

Reliability

Why did my score drop?

Open https://onflowads.com/telegram/dashboard/reliability and scroll to Your ledger — every change lists its amount, reason and date. Penalties only fire on confirmed outcomes, never silently.

I think a penalty is wrong

Use the Appeal button on that ledger entry and briefly explain why. Every appeal is reviewed by the team; if it is upheld, the exact points are restored and the entry is marked Reversed.

How long until my score recovers on its own?

It depends on the most serious recent mark: after a clean streak of 14 to 45 days (lighter marks need shorter streaks), the score drifts up daily. Completing clean deals is always faster — those credits apply immediately. Self-healing never lifts you above 8.0; beyond that, only real completed deals count.

What does "Under Review" mean on my score?

An open fraud concern (or a wallet freeze) is being investigated. Your score is frozen so it cannot be weaponised mid-dispute, and you cannot start new deals until it clears — anything already in progress still finishes.
