Recurring Promos
Found a partner worth keeping? A recurring promo makes the swap repeat on a cadence you choose — weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Each round is set up automatically ahead of go-live with both sides' posts carried over, so there is nothing to redo: no new code, no re-confirmation, no rebuilding posts.
Recurring promos are ideal for partners whose audience proved a good fit in the results — steady, compounding cross-exposure instead of one-off spikes.
Proposing a recurring swap
- Open a campaign with that partner that has reached Confirmed (or later — a completed campaign works too). The campaign page shows a 🔁 Recurring swap panel: "Swap with this partner on repeat — we auto-set-up each round and carry your posts over. Nothing to redo."
- Choose a cadence by pressing one of the buttons: Weekly, Fortnightly or Monthly.
- That's the proposal sent. Your panel now reads "Waiting for your partner to accept the ... recurring swap", with a Cancel proposal button (two-tap confirm) if you change your mind.
Either participant can be the one to propose.
Accepting or declining
Your partner sees the proposal in two places — the 🔁 Recurring swap panel on the shared campaign page, and the Recurring tab of the Find Partners page — with the cadence, the next round's date, and Accept / Decline buttons.
- Accept — the partnership becomes Active; the panel shows "Active · Weekly" (or your cadence) and the next round's date.
- Decline — the proposal is dismissed; the campaign itself is unaffected.
How rounds run
- About two days before each next go-live, the next campaign round is created automatically — already confirmed, on the same weekday/time cadence, carrying both sides' posts from the last round. It flows straight through review to automatic delivery with no manual step.
- You can still edit your post on the new round before go-live if you want to freshen it (normal editing rules apply — an edit needs your partner's re-approval).
- Each round is a full campaign of its own, with its own code, campaign page and results — so your history shows every round separately.
- The recurring entry links to the latest round via "Open current campaign".
Auto-created rounds are initiated on the original creator's side and use the allowance rules shown in your plan strip. If a round can't be created, both sides are notified rather than the partnership silently stalling.
Managing a recurring swap
Manage from the campaign page panel or the Recurring tab at https://onflowads.com/telegram/dashboard/cross-promotion/discover:
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Pause | Stops new rounds from being created; the partnership is kept |
| Resume | Picks the schedule back up |
| End | Ends the recurring partnership for good (two-tap Confirm step) |
| Cancel proposal | (While Pending) withdraws a proposal you sent |
Either partner can pause, resume or end at any time — the partnership is fully mutual.
The Recurring tab lists every partnership with the partner's name, a status pill (Pending / Active / Paused), the cadence, the next round's date, and the actions above. Empty state: "No recurring swaps yet. Set one up from a confirmed campaign to auto-rebook with a partner."
Recurring statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Proposed; waiting for the partner to accept or decline |
| Active | Rounds are being created automatically on the cadence |
| Paused | Kept, but no new rounds are created until resumed |
An ended partnership disappears from the list; you can always propose a fresh one from any confirmed campaign with that partner.
FAQ
Can I change the cadence later?
There's no in-place cadence edit — end the current partnership and propose a new one at the cadence you want.
What happens to a round that's already created if we pause?
Pausing stops future rounds from being created. A round that already exists is a normal campaign — let it run or cancel it like any other.
Do recurring rounds skip the review step?
Rounds carry the posts both sides already approved, so they proceed straight to delivery. If you edit your post on a round, the edit resets approval and your partner must approve the new version, as usual.
We stopped getting rounds — why?
Check the Recurring tab: the partnership may be Paused or ended by your partner, or a round couldn't be created (you'll have been notified). Resume or re-propose as needed.
