Account FAQ and Troubleshooting

This page collects the questions that come up most often while getting into an Onflow Ads account: verification emails that don't arrive, codes that expire, lockouts, sign-in errors and 2FA trouble. Each answer links to the page with the full detail if you need it.

Sign-up and verification

The verification email never arrived. What now?

  1. Wait a minute — email can lag.
  2. Check your spam, junk or promotions folders.
  3. On the verify page, click Resend code (available every 60 seconds, up to 4 times).
  4. If you may have mistyped your address, click Start over and sign up again with the correct email.

My code says it expired.

Codes are valid for 10 minutes. Click Resend code to get a fresh one and enter that instead.

It says "Too many incorrect codes... locked for 6 hours."

After repeated wrong codes, verification locks for 6 hours to protect the account from guessing. There's no way to shorten this — wait it out, then start again. The same protection applies to reset codes and 2FA codes.

It says an account with my email already exists.

That email is already registered and verified. Go to https://onflowads.com/signin and sign in — or use password reset if you don't know the password. If you originally joined through Telegram, try Continue with Telegram.

I closed the verification page. Is my sign-up lost?

No. If your verification window (about 30 minutes) is still open, going back to https://onflowads.com/verify in the same browser resumes it. If it has expired, sign up again with the same email and password — you'll get a new code and continue where you left off. Every verification rule is on Verifying Your Email.

Signing in

"Incorrect email or password."

The combination didn't match. Double-check for typos (and that you're using the email currently on the account — if you changed it, use the new one). Use Forgot password? if needed.

I signed up with Telegram and I'm asked for a password.

Accounts created via Continue with Telegram don't need a password — click Continue with Telegram on the sign-in page instead of filling in the form; see Signing In with Telegram. (Note that password reset works by email, so it only helps accounts that signed up with an email address you can check.)

The "Continue with Telegram" window says my request expired.

The handshake is short-lived (about 10 minutes). Click Continue with Telegram again to get a fresh code, and type it into the bot promptly. Make sure you type the code shown in your browser into the bot chat — not the other way around. Full details: Signing In with Telegram.

The Telegram / Google / Apple buttons aren't on my sign-in page.

Those buttons appear only when the corresponding sign-in method is currently enabled on the site. Use email and password if a button isn't shown.

"Your account is suspended until [date]." / "Your account has been suspended."

Your account is suspended (temporarily, until the date shown) or blocked. A timed suspension lifts automatically at the date shown. If you believe this is a mistake, contact support — include your OFA ID.

I keep getting signed out.

Sessions last about 48 hours, or about 30 days with Remember me ticked. Also note that resetting your password or changing your email signs out all other devices by design.

Two-factor authentication

I lost my phone and can't get 2FA codes.

Use one of your recovery codes at the sign-in code prompt — each works once. Once in, go to Account → Security and either Regenerate recovery codes or disable and re-enable 2FA with your new device. If you have no recovery codes left either, contact support.

My authenticator codes are always "incorrect."

TOTP codes depend on your phone's clock. Make sure your phone's time is set to automatic/network time — even a small clock drift makes every code fail.

Account details

Can I change my sign-in email?

Yes — Account → Profile → Change email. You'll need your current password (plus your 2FA code if enabled), and a 6-digit code sent to the new address. See Account Settings.

Can I change my role (Advertiser / Channel Owner)?

No. The Paid Promotions role you enlist as is permanent — the site will tell you "You're already enlisted, and your role can't be changed." Choose carefully when enlisting.

What's the "User ID: OFA-XXXX-XXXX" on my account page?

Your permanent public account ID — see Your OFA ID. Quote it when contacting support.

Is my data safe?

Passwords are stored only as secure cryptographic hashes, sessions use secure HTTP-only cookies, and sign-in activity on your account is logged for security. For everything else, see the Privacy Policy at https://onflowads.com/privacy.

Still stuck?

Open Support from the Telegram dashboard sidebar, or use the contact page at https://onflowads.com/contact. Including your OFA ID and a screenshot of any error message gets you the fastest answer.
