Your OFA ID

Every Onflow Ads account has one short, permanent, human-friendly identifier: the OFA ID. It looks like this:

OFA-1234-5678

That is: the letters OFA, then two groups of four digits — always the same shape, easy to read out loud or paste into a chat.

What it's for

Your OFA ID is the one ID you ever need to share about your account:

  • Support — quote it when contacting support so we can find your account instantly, without you sharing your email in public. It's the first thing to include in any support message, along with a screenshot of the problem.
  • One identity everywhere — the website and the Onflow Ads Telegram bot show the same OFA ID for the same person, because both read the same account. If the ID matches, it's the same account, wallet, channels and history — a quick way to confirm you're signed in as the right person on both sides.

It is safe to share: knowing your OFA ID does not let anyone sign in as you, message you, or see your email, balance or any other details. It identifies you the way a ticket number identifies a ticket — nothing more.

Where to find it

On the website:

  1. Sign in and open https://onflowads.com/account.
  2. Look under your name and email at the top of the page — it reads User ID: OFA-XXXX-XXXX.

In Telegram: the Onflow Ads bot's Mini App shows the same ID for your account. Whether you reached your account through the website or through Telegram, the string is identical.

The rules behind it

RuleDetail
AssignedAutomatically, the moment your account is created — no action needed.
FormatAlways OFA- followed by two groups of four digits.
RandomThe digits are drawn at random — the ID doesn't encode your sign-up date, email, Telegram ID or anything else about you.
PermanentIt never changes — not when you change your name, email, or anything else on the account.
UniqueNo two accounts can ever share an OFA ID.
Not editableThere's no way to choose or customize it — and no need to: it's an identifier, not a username.

FAQ

Is my OFA ID the same as my Telegram ID? No. Your Telegram ID belongs to Telegram; the OFA ID belongs to your Onflow Ads account. If you sign in with Telegram, the two are linked — but the OFA ID is what Onflow Ads (website and bot alike) uses to identify your account.

The website and the bot show me different OFA IDs. Then you're looking at two different accounts — typically one created with an email and another created through Telegram. If you want them to be one, sign in to the website with your email account and use Connect Telegram on the account page; see also Signing In with Telegram for how Telegram picks which account you land in.

My account page doesn't show a User ID right now. That's a temporary display hiccup — your ID still exists and hasn't changed. Refresh the page or check again shortly.

Can support ask me for more than my OFA ID? Support may ask you to confirm details only you would know, but will never ask for your password or two-factor codes. The OFA ID itself is all you need to volunteer.
