The View Guarantee

Advertisers can pay a premium at checkout for a guaranteed minimum view count on a placement in your channel. If Onflow Ads's own monitor later measures fewer views than guaranteed, the buyer receives an automatic pro-rata refund — a "make-good" — with no dispute and no argument, because the platform's own measurement is the arbiter.

This page explains what that product means from your side of the deal. The short version: nothing changes, and nothing is at risk.

The one fact that matters most​

You are always paid in full.

If a guaranteed placement under-delivers, the make-good refund to the buyer is funded by Onflow Ads — never taken from your payout, and never billed to you afterwards. You advertised your reach in good faith and are paid your full payout regardless of what the placement delivered. The premium the buyer pays is the price of the platform taking the delivery risk.

How the guarantee is set​

  • The guaranteed number is a floor set below your channel's advertised average views — deliberately, so ordinary week-to-week variance does not trip it. The exact guaranteed count is shown on the booking.
  • Your advertised average views are measured by Onflow Ads's bot from your recent posts, not typed in by you. That is precisely why the platform is willing to stand behind them.
  • The settlement measurement is the monitor's own sampled view counts on the delivered post — the same witnessed numbers in the delivery report both sides see. See Delivery monitoring.
  • The guarantee is not offered on channels whose advertised reach is below a minimum, because a guarantee the platform cannot stand behind is not sold at all.

What you have to do differently​

Nothing. Deliver exactly as you would any placement: post inside the window, keep the post up and pinned for its promised duration, do not edit it.

  • There is no extra step and no extra reporting.
  • There is no penalty tied to the guarantee itself. Under-delivery against a guarantee does not touch your reliability score, your Standing, or your good-faith deposit.
  • The ordinary delivery rules still apply exactly as on any booking — a deleted post is still a deleted post.

Edge cases, resolved in advance​

  • The placement meets or beats the floor — the guarantee is met, the buyer keeps nothing extra, and you notice nothing.
  • The placement under-delivers — the buyer receives a pro-rata make-good funded by Onflow Ads. Your payout is untouched.
  • The placement could not be measured at all — the buyer's guarantee premium is refunded to them. Your payout is unaffected.
  • The booking is declined, cancelled or refunded before it runs — the premium goes back to the buyer along with their charge, as you would expect.
  • A dispute is open on the booking — the dispute decides the money first; the guarantee settles only after it closes. See Disputes.

Why this is good for sellers​

Certainty is the one thing a rate card cannot sell, and buyers pay a premium for it. Cautious advertisers who would otherwise test a small slot will book a real one when the downside is covered — so channels with solid, honest average-view numbers effectively win bookings they would not otherwise see. Because your advertised reach is measured by the bot rather than self-reported, a healthy channel qualifies automatically, with nothing to apply for.

FAQ​

Does a make-good against my channel hurt my Standing or reliability?​

No. The make-good is Onflow Ads honoring its own promise to the buyer. Your reliability moves only on the concrete events listed in Delivery monitoring — none of which is "the guarantee paid out".

Can I opt my channel out of guaranteed bookings?​

There is no opt-out toggle, and there is also nothing to opt out of: guaranteed bookings are ordinary bookings from your side, at your full price, with your full payout, and you still approve every request before it runs.

Will I even know a booking was guaranteed?​

The booking runs identically either way from your side. The guarantee's state and its settlement live on the buyer's order card.

My channel's views dipped this month — should I lower my advertised reach?​

You cannot set it by hand; it is measured from your recent posts, so it tracks reality on its own. What you can do is keep posting normally — a channel with a healthy posting cadence gives the measurement something honest to work with.

Does a guaranteed booking pay me more?​

No. The premium is the buyer's price for the platform's risk. You receive your normal payout for the format they booked.
