Maintenance windows
Occasionally the team takes the site — or just one section of it — offline briefly to ship improvements or fix something. Here's exactly what that looks like from your side, why nothing of yours is at risk, and what to do while you wait.
The "We'll be right back" page
During maintenance, visiting an affected page shows a holding page instead of the normal content. It is completely self-contained, so it loads and looks right even though the rest of the site is paused.
What's on it, top to bottom:
- The Onflow Ads brand lockup.
- A status pill with a pulsing dot, reading Maintenance in progress.
- The headline We're tuning things up, and beneath it: "Onflow Ads will be back in a few minutes — here's a little fuel on growth, business & building a name while you wait."
- A rotating quote card — real, attributed quotes on growth, business, marketing, success, mindset and fame — with a category tag and a progress bar showing how long until the next one.
- A hint line: "New quote every few seconds · → or Space for the next one."
- A footer: "Watching for the all-clear — we'll reconnect you automatically." and "Need us now? support@onflowads.com".
The quote card controls
- A new quote appears automatically every few seconds.
- Press the arrow button on the card, the Right Arrow key, or the Space bar to skip to the next one immediately.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the animations are toned down and the card simply swaps.
It's a small thing, but it is there so the wait doesn't feel like an error screen.
You don't need to keep refreshing
The holding page quietly re-checks the site in the background — roughly every fifteen seconds — and reloads itself into the real site the moment maintenance ends. When it detects the all-clear, the status pill changes to "Back online — reconnecting…" and the page reloads a moment later.
Two details worth knowing:
- If you switch to another tab, the checking pauses to save your battery and resumes the instant you come back to the tab.
- You can still reload manually at any time — it does no harm and changes nothing.
The page is designed to be left alone. Come back to it and you'll either see a quote or the site you were trying to reach.
Maintenance isn't always site-wide
The team can put a single area into maintenance while everything else keeps running. The areas that can be taken down on their own are:
- the whole Telegram section of the site;
- the Telegram dashboard as a whole;
- the Cross-Promotion dashboard;
- the Boost dashboard;
- the Subscriber Exchange dashboard;
- the Paid Promotions dashboard.
When only one section is in maintenance:
- Pages in that section show the holding page.
- Actions in that section that run in the background return a short message instead: "This section is in maintenance mode — please check back shortly."
- Everything else works normally — your wallet, the other dashboards, sign-in, the help widget and the contact form.
So "one dashboard is down but the rest of the site is fine" is a supported, expected state, not a glitch.
What stays available during maintenance
| Stays up | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| The status page at https://onflowads.com/status | Live component health and any incident notice — exactly when you want it. See The system status page. |
| Email to support@onflowads.com | Printed on the maintenance page itself, for anything urgent. |
| Wallet top-up confirmations | A payment you had just completed is still accepted and credited. Maintenance never causes a captured payment to go missing. |
What maintenance does not do
Maintenance pauses access; it does not modify data. Campaigns, orders, balances, listings, channel settings and support conversations are all exactly where you left them when the site returns. Nothing is deleted, cancelled or reset.
Timers and schedules keep their own logic — maintenance is normally a matter of minutes, and the holding page says so.
What to do during a maintenance window
- Wait on the holding page. It reconnects you automatically, usually within minutes.
- Check the status page if you want live component health or an incident message.
- Email support@onflowads.com if it's genuinely urgent.
- Once you're back in, verify anything you were mid-way through — an unsent form, an unconfirmed booking, a half-finished listing — before assuming it went through.
Edge cases
I was filling in a long form when maintenance started. Copy your text somewhere safe before reloading. Unsent form content isn't stored on our side.
I paid, and then hit the maintenance page. Payment confirmations are processed even during maintenance. When you're back in, open your wallet and check the balance; if it's still missing after a few minutes, contact support with the approximate time and amount. See Payment troubleshooting.
One dashboard section still shows maintenance after the rest came back. That's the per-section behaviour above. Check back shortly, or watch the status page for a notice.
The holding page never reconnects. If it's been a long while, reload manually once, then check the status page from another network or device. If the status page also fails to load, the problem may be your connection.
I see a "You're offline" page instead. That page comes from your own device, not from our servers — see Troubleshooting & FAQ.
FAQ
Is maintenance announced in advance? Windows are short and are normally taken when traffic is low. When there's something to say, the team posts an incident notice, which appears on the status page and as a strip across site pages.
How long does it usually last? The page says "a few minutes", and that is the intent.
Will my scheduled campaign or promotion be affected? Maintenance doesn't cancel anything. If a schedule mattered to the minute, check its status once you're back in and contact support if something looks wrong.
Can I reach support during maintenance? By email, yes — support@onflowads.com. The on-site widget and contact form come back with the site.
